Privacy

AsciiTube collects nothing. Not the extension, not this website.

The extension runs entirely in your browser. It sends nothing to us. It reads the videos and images YouTube is already showing you, and fetches some of those images again from the servers that sent them (YouTube's and Google's, ads included), without cookies, so it can redraw them. The only thing it stores is whether ASCII is on or off, in your browser's own extension storage.

This website has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no trackers.

Cloudflare hosts it: Cloudflare serves its pages and its video, and processes standard request data, such as your IP address, to do so. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

If this ever changes, this page will say so first.
